Air Fryer Cauliflower Bites

If you love fried foods like me, I highly recommend this recipe for air-fried breaded cauliflower. These cauli bites are crunchy and delicious. Plus, they are so easy to make!


AIR FRYER CAULIFLOWER BITES 🍀🥦


Cauliflower tossed in a wonderful batter and air-fried until they are crispy outside and tender inside! Perfect to dip in your hot sauces for an afternoon snack, or to serve with falafel for lunch.


(Ready in 40 minutes / servings 4)


Ingredients


1 medium head cauliflower (about 2 lbs), cut into florets

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened rice milk

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Sea salt black pepper, to preference

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon olive oil


Directions


Boil cauliflower florets in a large pot of salted water for about 20 minutes. until crisp-tender.


Pat the cauliflower florets dry with a kitchen towel.


In a shallow bowl, thoroughly combine the flour, milk, and spices; mix to combine well. Place breadcrumbs in another bowl.


Dip cauliflower florets into the batter and toss until well coated on all sides. You can use a flexible spatula or your hands.


Then, roll battered cauliflower florets onto breadcrumbs and press to coat well. Transfer cauliflower florets to an oiled air fryer basket.


Air fry cauliflower florets at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes. Devour!



Chef's Notes


Replace unsweetened plant-based milk with water or beer.


You can bake breaded cauliflower in the preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 40 or minutes until golden brown.
